Our store 1st opened January of 1989 on Mulberry St Punxsutawney, PA as "Chambers Replacement World" it was a 3000 square foot store front with some adjacent warehouses and just 3 employees. Tim Chambers our owner went from contracting and building houses into beginning Chambers Replacement World because he liked dealing with people and especially liked working with kitchens which is a major part of our business today.

In 1995 our business expanded to a 30,000 square foot building on 313 Martha St, Punxsutawney and through the help of Do It Best Corp we became a complete "Building and Supply Center". In 2000 it changed it's name to CRW Home Center Inc.. We now have 18 knowledgeable employees including specialists in Windows and Doors, Kitchen & Bath, Plumbing & Electrical and general construction and remodeling.

We keep a large supply of lumber and building materials on hand at all times including regular and treated all types of plywood, sheetrock, siding, insulation, shingles, millwork including a large selection of doors and all types of hardwood and pre-fabricated molding. A large part of our business is special order in Kitchen and bath cabinetry including Kraftmaid, Bertch, Sagehill and Sunnywood. We have 2 Home Decor Specialists on staff who will work with you and design with free full color computerized drawings. We have all types of flooring including Bruce Hardwood, Wilsonart & Alloc laminates, IVC and Tarkett linoleum. We sell Peachtree, Great Lakes and Farley doors and windows. With DIB as our liaison we have over 70,000 products available weekly, many in stock, such as all types of hardware, paint, housewares, faucets, lighting, plumbing and electrical.
